This is a great book for many reasons. I think of their term multitude as an example of what i call multiplicity, as applied to people and power; their notions of biopower and soft weapons (pp. 346-347 of the hardback edition) are tremendously important; and they really understand networks in the broader sense (not just today's degraded usage of social networks). It needs to be more seductive, though.

Mackenzie Wark's A Hacker Manifesto has some similar underpinnings, and may be a valuable complement ... combine the hacker class's ability to build abstractions with their biopower, and you can have some interesting possibilities -- especially if you can add in some seductive.
